BIOGRAPHY

Rick Von Feldt is an American from Topeka, Kansas. He has lived for the last five years in Singapore, working in the IT Industry. Rick is an avid traveler and hobbyist writer.

On Sunday, he headed to Phuket, Thailand for a 5-day holiday on the beach. Each year, he takes alone time to think about life and write an annual summary called his "Year in Review." This was to be his secluded holiday. Four minutes after his arrival to his beach hotel, the Indian Sea Tsunami hit – and what follows are his message back to his friends about his experiences with this horrific event.

I can't imagine witnessing this, and being high enough above it to witness, then see the after affects, then assist people who were left homeless. Amazing journey! Michelle
